S&P Global: Russia's Services PMI falls to 52.2 in November
MOSCOW, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- Russia's seasonally adjusted Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) decreased to 52.2 in November from 53.6 in October, above the 50 no-change mark, which means an overall expansion, research agency S&P Global said on Tuesday.
"Russian service providers recorded a modest expansion in business activity during November, according to the latest PMI survey from S&P Global. The rate of growth eased notably amid a slower uptick in new business," the researchers said.
New orders showed the weakest increase since May, while new exports orders surged at one of the highest rates in nine years. Input costs accelerated the rise, output costs rose at the slowest speed since May, the hiring growth rate stood at the October level, as well as the degree of confidence for the next 12 months.
